« If I was to give 20 Dollar bill, wouldn’t u say that is ashame to let burn some sort of papers?»

What is the PULP FASHION PROJECT?

    - Pulp is the term used to speak of pulp intended for the manufacture of paper -

The dream of being able to design eco-friendly clothing, 100% designed in natural materials,

very economical, 100% recyclable, without developing new technologies,

locally produced, which can be personalized and manufactured ultra quickly.

This dream could be a Utopia.

Then, just imagine that this is really possible.

    But how?

By replacing textiles with PAPER, this dream could be realized.

This idea may seem strange at first. Paper to make clothes, it's impossible!

Paper tears, paper melts on contact with water, paper is rigid, paper is for writing,

    paper is for hygienic use.

Indeed, in western countries, paper is used mainly for these uses.

But in Asia, like Japan, for example, paper has been used for centuries to make clothes, umbrellas, house partitions, lights and many other items of daily life.

So if I tell you that there are very soft papers, which do not easily melt in water,

papers that can be sewn, woven or knitted,

you can then go to the other side of the dream and go towards this reality of paper clothing.

Pushes the concept of "planned obsolescence” fashion

generated by the fashion trends and seasons, PULP FASHION PROJECT propose to design and

produce disposable clothing made of paper.
